Christine Itano-Cosner

Christine Itano-Cosner has 20 years of experience as an organizational development consultant, instructional system designer, trainer and facilitator for non-profit and for-profit organizations.

Ms. Itano-Cosner specializes in partnering with organizations to address the unique needs of their diverse global workforce.  She integrates her experience, with the dynamics of intercultural communication, relationship-building, and leadership, into all aspects of her organizational development and human performance consulting work.  She has co-developed the Intercultural Relationship Model that is a synthesis of behavioral styles and cultural dimensions, and the Global Leadership Imperatives for Resilient Leaders.

Her areas of expertise include: leadership development, intercultural communication, diversity and inclusion, strategic planning, performance management, teambuilding, coaching, instructional systems design and development, and organizational research.  A sample of her clients include: Pfizer, IBM, Boeing, Ernst & Young, PricewaterhouseCoopers, Raytheon, The Aerospace Corporation, U.S. Air Force, Northrop-Grumman, McDonalds, Asian Business Association, and United Faith Methodist Church. She also serves as an adjunct faculty member for the University of California at Irvine, Paul Merage School of Business, Executive Education Program.

Her most recent management position was as Director of Training for a national non-profit organization serving Fortune 500 companies and the Asian Pacific American community. She managed a staff of nationally recognized trainers and was responsible for the overall architecture of the Community Development Institute and Leadership Management Institute programs and courses.  Ms. Itano-Cosner was also a Project Lead and Senior Organizational Development Consultant for The Aerospace Corporation.  She provided organizational development consulting, instructional design and delivery, and facilitation of leadership, management, and professional development programs to senior executives and aerospace industry program managers and USAF officers responsible for Integrated Product Teams. 

In addition to her corporate and non profit work, Ms. Itano-Cosner is using her work experience with adults and athletes to educate and counsel youth. She is focused on helping youth realize their potential as leaders across cultures. Ms. Itano-Cosner received her BA in Psychology from UC Santa Barbara, and an MS in Industrial/Organizational Psychology from San Francisco State University.
